A good walk from the old city, but the food and service was worth the stroll. The spring rolls were crispy and contained a good portion of meat. Highlight of the meal was the crispy duck with szhezuan sauce, also crispy and just enough punch in the sauce. Overall it was a very good meal which with a beer ended up costing just above 25 EUR. Credit card is accepted.

Very tasty Shanghainese food, friendly service and lower-than-expected prices. We tried the signature chicken noodles, tung-cu beef, nr 116 and nr 53, as well as the Gambia deep fried fish dish. Fantastic. My wife agrees to this.

I celebrated my 1 year anniversary here with my partner and I loved it. Food is amazing, portions are generous, service is very professional and kind. Atmosphere is just perfect. Would recommend!

Excellent restaurant with great food and atmosphere. We ordered 3 different meals and shared, and we were pleasantly surprised with food, as all 3 meals were perfectly cooked and presented. Spring rolls are great, though, ordering 2 portions per person is a must if you like them. Prices are well set, so instead of going for fast food for let's say 3 people, you can dine here for less or the same money, more or less.

I’ve been coming to Shangai House for years and it never disappoints. The food is always fresh, delicious, and full of authentic flavors. The service is friendly and fast, and the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. Whether you’re dining in or ordering takeaway, the quality is consistently excellent. Highly recommended to anyone who loves great Asian cuisine!

Before going to Zadar I checked for Asian restaurants nearby and found few of them with different specialties. Shanghai House definitely is the top one, even if it’s not % what I wanted I found something for me and a lot of others dishes that I would try when I go back. Something else I liked is our waiter that seems to be genuinely curious about why I didnt want to eat a specific type of meat. Although we didn’t reserve a table there were table reserved but luckily it wasn’t busy. I would recommend making your reservation as it can get busy at some point. Great service there and great atmosphere so here is another Asian restaurant that didn’t disappoint me :) and I will leave the recommendation on other platforms too.

After so many years my daughter visiting this place, I decided to go. It is definitely one of best ones in the area. Meals are really good and portions are large. Service and staff are really professional. We had three meals and all three were really really good. I wanted to take photos of ice cram, but it was gone in two minutes.... definitely recommend. And, to add it has outside seating and inside. Enjoy.

Visited Shanghai House recently with my friend when visiting Zadar. Lovely decor and background music, the food arrived very quickly. My dish with prawns and squid was very delicious however my friend's dish with tofu was not adequate. Sauce was watery and flavourless, broccoli overcooked. On the other hand the tea was beautiful, tasty and nicely presented. Overall the experience was pleasant but it needs improvement. Thank you
